Customizable Marseille Soap Cube made in France 🇫🇷

For over 120 years and four family generations, Marius Fabre has been manufacturing our Marseille soap exclusively from rigorously selected vegetable oils. It contains no dyes or synthetic additives. It is not made from petroleum derivatives or animal fats, unlike most commercial soaps and shower gels.

Gentle on the skin, natural and effective

The "Marseillaise" manufacturing process guarantees an "Extra pure" soap, free of all impurities. It takes care of all skin types, especially the most sensitive (babies, allergic skin...). Olive oil provides its nourishing properties: Marius Fabre Marseille soap with olive oil helps reduce skin dryness*.

Environmentally friendly and economical

Purely vegetable, biodegradable, without phosphates or synthetic products, it does not pollute rivers and contributes to environmental preservation. Furthermore, it requires very little packaging. It lasts a very long time, especially when allowed to dry. Its longevity makes it a particularly economical product.

The glycerin contained in Marseille soaps is not added glycerin, unlike so-called "glycerinated" soaps. It is, in fact, glycerin naturally contained in vegetable oil. After 10 days of cooking and numerous rinses, only a tiny amount remains. The ingredient "glycerin" is nevertheless mentioned in the list of ingredients of soaps, because traces of it remain. The new cosmetic regulation requires that all ingredients, even in trace amounts, be indicated in the ingredient list.

Soap Factory

The Marius Fabre and Fer à Cheval Marseille soap factories are among the four founding members of the "Union des Professionnels du Savon de Marseille" (Union of Marseille Soap Professionals), an association created in 2011 to defend and promote authentic Marseille soap.

Demand the Union des Professionnels du Savon de Marseille logo, which guarantees an authentic Marseille soap manufactured according to three essential criteria:

1. Composition: exclusively vegetable oils, without fragrance, colorant, or preservative.

2. Manufacturing process: cauldron cooking, according to a specific saponification process called "Marseillaise process", comprising 5 stages. Cauldron manufacturing lasts from one week to 10 days.

3. Geographical origin: manufactured in the historical production area of Marseille soap: the Marseille region, which today corresponds to the Bouches-du-Rhône department (13).
